The CIVIC- Institute for international education supports skills and abilities of people at schools and universities, the public administration and the free economy.
Our aims are to develop long-term perspectives for public life, society and economy, we would like to shape processes of change and would like to enable informed and responsible acting in the context of Europeanisation and globalization.
Our core competencies are the education and training of executive personnel in the public administration, but also the education of trainees, students and pupils in the European context.
We have long-lasting experience in the development and execution of scenario games for various topics: climate and environment policy, in the area of economy and energy policies, policies of asylum and migration and as well in the accession and neighbourhood policies of the EU. Topics
We offer events for a variety of topics, e.g. political education, European politics, leadership development, data protection, integrity and compliance, international competencies, participation of the youth.
Methods
It is important to us that our participants are involved during our events. Due to that reason, we work with interactive workshop approaches and participative methods like scenario games and simulations. This makes it possible to experience the topics conveyed on your own and to reach a higher level of understanding.
