Sarah Hesse studied social sciences at Heinrich-Heine-University in Düsseldorf and subsequently completed a master’s program in International Relations at the Andrássy University in Budapest, graduating with a grade of 1.5.
During her studies, she spent a semester abroad in Budapest and Istanbul, focusing in particular on European politics, gender equality policy, and international relations.
Sarah Hesse gained practical experience in areas such as political communications at Lanxess, in state and federal legislative offices in Stuttgart and Berlin, and in policy consulting at Policylead. In addition, she is active in local politics in Hamburg and serves on the Youth Welfare Committee of the Wandsbek district.
Since 2022, Sarah Hesse has been working as a student intern for the CIVIC Institute for International Education.
