Hayk Kocharyan has studied Arabic Studies at Yerevan State University (YSU) with focus on Arabic and Islamic Studies. His main topics are adaptation mechanisms and transformation processes in Ummah.
Since 2006 he is Associated Professor at the Chair of Arabic Studies at YSU and Senior Fellow Researcher at Center for Civilization and Cultural Studies YSU with focus on Middle East.
Since 2011 he is a member of Armenian Methodologists and Game Technologists team which use the Methodology of Systemic Thought-Activity (MSTA) for organization of collective thinking known as Organizational Activity Seminar (OAS).
