Havva Sümbül Baran is studying the interdisciplinary Bachelor’s programme in Social Sciences – Media, Politics, Society at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. She is particularly interested in social inequality, peace research, and parliamentarism.
So far, Havva Sümbül has completed an internship at Radio Köln and gained experience as a private tutor in German and English. In her free time, she is part of a theatre collective that brings socio-political issues to the stage through artistic performances.

From early February to mid-March 2026, Havva Sümbül Baran will be working as an intern at the CIVIC Institute to gain practical experience in political education.
