Jan Stemmann

Bachelor’s degree in Political Science at the University of Duisburg-Essen

Since 2020, Jan Stemmann has been studying Political Science at the University of Duisburg-Essen. His studies include, among other topics, legal and state theories, international relations, European integration, and politics in the European multi-level system.

Through his work alongside his studies as a tutor at the Institute of Political Science and as an educational support assistant at a primary school, he discovered his interest in working in the field of political education.

From August to September 2025, Jan Stemmann will be working as an intern at the CIVIC Institute, where he is gaining practical experience in this field.
