From 2013 to 2020 Jonas Hilla worked as student assistant at the public relations of the Collaborative Research Centers 923 "Threatened Order – Societies under Stress" of the University of Tübingen

Since 2016 Jonas Hilla works for the Landeszentrale für politische Bildung Baden-Württemberg.

Since 2022, he has been working as a student tutor for the CIVIC Institute for International Education.

Jonas Hilla is interested in history, Japanese culture and political board-games.
