Interface between Christianity, Democracy and Market Economy: the 10th Anniversary of Lithuania´s Accession to the European Union. Seminar from 05 – 06 December 2014 in Troskunai, Lithuania

In the framework of the above-mentioned seminar, the CIVIC Institute for international education took part in the official programme of the seminar which took place in Troskunai, Anykscai district, Lithuania, from 5 to 6 December 2014.

On the 6 December, Goce Peroski held a lecture on the topic “EU vs. the nation-states: confrontation between the future and the past”. The seminar was attended by approx. 50 pupils and students. It was organized by the Lithuanian Kolping Society (www.kolping.lt) and financed by the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairas as well as by funds of the European Union.

Moreover, Mr. Peroski supported a working group on the topic: “The impact of political integration to Lithuanian sovereignty: why and how much of it we have to assign to the supranational structures?” The aim of the working group was to develop proposals for the European development guidelines which will be sent to the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
